2. “I Will Wear the Armor of God Today”
If you were to consider or name the person or entity behind the struggles of your life, you may name a boss, a dramatic colleague, or a cantankerous neighbor, but what if there is a greater battle at hand? Paul reminds us in Ephesians 6 that the true battle is not that of flesh and blood, but that of the powers that be in the spirit realm. He shares, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” (Ephesians 6:12-17)
For this reason, we must pray the armor of God daily that we may be prepared. Pray this over your family as well and see just how powerful that armor really is spiritually and beyond.

3. “Search Me and Know Me, Lord; I Want to Be Wholly Yours”
Often, we may not be aware of the anxieties that seek to gnaw at our peace and how that can impact how we operate with others and how we see our lives. David’s prayer in Psalm 139:23-24 is “Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” (NIV)
This powerful invitation to the Lord seeks truth to be given to us as His followers, and it offers the opportunity for change of mind, alteration of choices, or revelation of needed refinement. Praying this affirmation invokes action, communication, and betterment on a daily basis.
4. "I Am Loved, Chosen, and Seen Today and Every Day”
A powerful way to combat feelings of discouragement is to remind your heart what God says about you. Speaking verses and statements of truth out loud will audibly speak to your brain and heart about who you are in Christ. These affirmations can include that you are loved: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness” (Jeremiah 31:3), you are chosen: “For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will” (Ephesians 1:4-5), and you are seen, “Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love” (Psalm 33:18). Proclaim these truths over yourself, your life, and your future.

5. “The Lord Is My Shepherd and Guides Me”
A Shepherd leads his sheep, and when we choose to allow Jesus Christ to be our Savior, we are also asking Him to lead, guide, and move us as He sees fit. Psalm 23:1 shares, “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.” With Christ as your Shepherd, you have all you will ever need for this life and beyond.
6. “He Provides for Me in All Ways”
Financially, emotionally, and beyond, we can lose heart and worry if there will be enough to see you throughout the day. Thankfully, we have a kind Father who provides all we need. Philippians 4:19 reminds us, “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” We can stand firm in the knowledge that He will provide for our needs; He is boundless.
7. “I Am Remembered, and I Do Not Need to Fear”
Fear is not your portion, and you do not need to worry that the Lord has forgotten about you. Matthew 6:31-34 assures us that, “So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (NIV). We do not need to even consider the idea that He has forgotten; rather, seek Him and know in our hearts we are taken care of in all ways.

8. “He Is Strong, and His Grace Is Sufficient for Me”
If the morning has left you weary, remind yourself of the firm and holy beauty that He is strong enough for both of you. 2 Corinthians 12:9 shares, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” (NIV). Rest in this surrender and allow Him to take on your burdens, uncertainties, and questions this day.
9. “God Has Good Things for My Future”
God has goodness for you in this life, and you can firmly take hold of it in this present moment. Cling to the reminder that He works all things together for good: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28). He has a plan for your future, as Jeremiah 29:11 shares, “’For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’” You will indeed see the good not only in Heaven, but on this Earth as well. “I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living” (Psalm 27:13). Stand confident with great hope in Him.
